Join us for our annual Ladies Bird Dog Seminar on July 18-19, 2026.
This two-day seminar is for ladies of all levels, with and without a dog. The weekend includes hands-on demos and insights from experienced handlers and NAVHDA judges to help you confidently navigate training and handling your own bird dog, for hunting or testing (or both!)
💥 We'll be covering topics that benefit both beginner and experienced ladies like:
- Handling and reading your dog in the field
- Steadiness and bird handling
- Fetch and retrieve work
- Water work
- Field first-aid demos with a veterinarian
- Shooting and gun maintenance
🍽️ Tickets also include a field to table dinner on Saturday, July 18th, curated by Jeff Williams of Forest to Field.
🐕 This seminar weekend is limited to 10 dog-handler spots, and 10 observer spots (not handling a dog).
📍 Just like last year, this seminar is generously hosted by Camile Rice of Timberdoodle Weims in LeRoy, Michigan.
Camping is available on-site.
