Clinic Leaders will be NAVHDA Senior Judge and Invitational Judge Tim Lewis from New York.

This is a TWO-DAY Event

Attendees will learn about the NAVHDA Invitational Test Segments and Scoring system, and will observe dogs being run in the different segments and engage in discussions about potential scoring.  Training concepts will also be discussed.

The focus of the Invitational Clinic will be to gain insight on the requirements of the test, test set ups, judgment of, and training ideas for the IT.  Attendees with dogs experienced at the UT level who are anticipating entering a future Invitational are welcome to bring their dog.  There may be opportunity to work with some dogs individually as part of the clinic.

At the completion of each clinic day there could be opportunity to ask questions which relate to NA, UPT or UT level training. If time permits these level dogs can get individual attention. 

If you bring your dog, please be prepared to keep it kenneled in your vehicle or staked out at your vehicle away from the clinic area.  Pay attention to the weather.

• Clinic Fee:  $200.00

Prepare by reading NAVHDA Aims, Programs and Test Rules book  as it pertains to the Invitational Test, as well as the Individual Invitational Test segment Instructions here on the NAVHDA website.

What to Bring:

• all-weather gear.
• an article of blaze orange clothing
• field boots/shoes. Rubber “muck” boots are useful.
• folding “camp” chair
• clipboard, notebook and pen.

• YOUTH (18 and under) Handlers can apply for the Kristin Rieser Scholarship Fund to cover the base clinic entry fee.
